About the founder
Desheka Williams, President
Born in Alaska to two Army veterans and raised in Fayetteville, NC, Desheka is the wife of a retired Army Veteran, the mother to two beautiful children- Heavenly and LaDamian.
After dedicating 20 years to the nursing profession, she retired as a nurse with deep experience in healthcare.
Her education background includes a Nursing Degree, Healthcare Management degree, certifications in Biblical counseling and Biblical Studies, and a certified Life Coach.
She is passionate about serving others and has taken on multiple roles in mentorship, leadership, and community engagement throughout her life. As a youth and adult mentor, former Girl Scout Troop Leader, and former PTO President, she has always been deeply committed to guiding and empowering those around her. Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to start Diakrití Designs, where she specializes in National Travel Event Planning and Interior Design. Desheka believes that every event is worth celebrating, and is dedicated to creating memorable experiences for her clients while transforming spaces with creativity and care.
In addition to her work in design, Desheka is the Founder of T.I.C ( Tillers In Christ), a 501c(3) Non-profit organization that serves the community through 4 departments: Public Service, Community Service, Education, and Financial Literacy. Through T.I.C, she works to uplift and support those in need, providing resources for growth and change.
